Privacy policy
What personal data we process, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated: October 10, 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
TestGeeks is a brand of Opawi sp. z o.o., a company registered in Poland in the National Court Register (KRS). Opawi sp. z o.o. is the controller of the personal data described here. We provide full registration details on request.
For anything related to your data, email contact@testgeeks.org. We reply within one business day and act on requests within one month.
When you visit this website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Fonts and all other files are served from our own hosting, so your browser doesn’t contact third parties when you read these pages.
Like any web server, our hosting provider records technical data needed to deliver the pages and keep the service secure: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and information about your browser. We use these logs only for security and to fix technical problems. They are kept only as long as our hosting provider needs them for security and operation, and then deleted automatically. We don’t keep our own copies.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
When you email us
We process what you send us: usually your name, email address, company, job title and the content of your message. We use it to reply, to prepare a proposal and, if we work together, to carry out the contract.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering messages and in doing business with the company you represent (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you contact us as an individual or sole trader who is, or wants to become, a party to a contract with us, the basis is the contract or the steps before entering into it (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep invoices and accounting records because the law requires it (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We keep correspondence while the matter is open and then for up to 3 years after it is closed, in case of claims (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Invoices and other accounting records are kept for as long as Polish accounting and tax law requires, generally 5 years from the end of the year in which the related tax fell due.
You don’t have to give us personal data, but without an email address we can’t reply to you.
When we contact you about our services
We sometimes write to people at companies whose public chatbots we have used as ordinary visitors, to share what we noticed and offer our services. In that case we process your name, business email address, job title and company, and the fact that we contacted you. We take this information from public sources: your company’s website, public professional profiles such as LinkedIn, and similar business directories.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in promoting our services to businesses (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can object at any time by replying “no” or by writing to contact@testgeeks.org, and we won’t contact you again. To make sure of that, we keep your email address on a do-not-contact list for as long as we contact companies, so your objection keeps working. If you don’t reply, we delete your other data within 12 months of our last message.
When we work for your company
We test chatbots using test identities and invented details, not real personal data. If a client shares real conversation logs or other personal data with us, we process it only on the client’s instructions, under a data processing agreement signed beforehand.
Who else sees your data
We share personal data only with providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- OVHcloud, which hosts this website and our email, in the European Union.
- Google, whose cloud services, such as Google Drive and Google Sheets, we use for documents and records, including our contact list.
- Our accounting office, for invoices and accounting records.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When they do, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards at contact@testgeeks.org.
We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for automated decisions or profiling.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your data and get a copy of it,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have your data deleted, or its processing restricted,
- receive your data in a portable format, where the law provides for it,
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest, including at any time to processing for marketing.
To use any of these rights, email contact@testgeeks.org.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl. You may also contact the authority in the country where you live or work, for example the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we process personal data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
